Axle Ratio Code 22 & options
just bought a 1979 f 250 ranger 4x2 and i cant find what the axle ratio is...on the door it says 22j i cant find this code on any website.looks like a dana 60.also...whats the difference between ranger and reg f250s?this is an oddball truck(radio delete,high output heater,factory pintle hitch)thanks for any help.

I'm pretty sure its a Dana 61, 3.07:1 ratio, 5300lb GVW. Thats i get from the decoder I use. Maby someone else can verify this.
Also a ranger is just a trim level, the trrim level above custom
