Had a buddy in high school that had a stepdad who would take a four pack of eight-***** (old english malt tall cans) put them on the roof of his garage in the morning and go to work. They would sit there all day in the 115 degree heat and he would down all four when he got home. Actually witnessed it. He crazy. Well he knew no one would steal his beer.
Me, I like Guiness when i'm rich, The King when i'm not, and Naty lites when i'm really broke.
There are over 800 Belgian beers and about as many German. I don't know how many American microbrews. It's probably safe to say I haven't found my favorite beer yet, but as of today:
1. Kruestzberg (made by monks in Germany and only sold at the monastary)
2. Shiner Bock
3. Glaabsbrau 1744
4. Modelo Especial
5. Dos Equis lager
6. Heineken Special dark (that reminds me, got one in the fridge now... be right back)
7. Warstiener
8. Sam Adams light
9. Sam Adams
10. Shiner blonde
I love trying microbrews too. Don't like the big name American beers unless it's hotter than Texas outside and they're served ice cold. MGD is my favorite cheap American beer.
labatt blue for my regular 2 when i get home, another with dinner... if it's a weekend and i know someone will be coming over to kill a two/four with me i like that new molson export light... a good all day long beer
'Hammer-Head Ale' From McMennamen's Brew Pub in Portland, Ore. Honey colored, misty smell and enough head you can stand a hammer on end in a glass, I ***** you not. It's also about 27% alcohol by weight. Check it out.
