A few Questions

Its been about three weeks scence I had a computer and I have noticed a fewthing on my VAn, 90-91 3.0 extended Aerostar

1. When starting out in the mornings or any time after the van has been parked for a while, an hour or so, or some times just at a red light, the van bounces up and down and vribates, I dont think its a broken belt in a tire becouse that has happened to me before and the vibration would be more constant with a bad tire.

2. Van stutters, stall or just quits when I give a little throttel in the morning, idels real ruff too when cold. This also doest it randemly but mostly in the morning.

3. The other night was the first real time i rode in the back seat of my van, 91 Extended 3.0, and The ride reminded me of ridding in the back of a school bus and having my teeth jared out, up front in the drivers seat the ride is smooth, should I stiffen or lossen the rear springs or shocks.

Thank you

Jeremy

A few Questions

See the recent posting "Aerostar Stumbles", for info on the TPS, which it sounds like is your problem. The vibration in rear is likely bad u-joints, axle bearings or pinion bearings. Check earlier posts with the search feature for more information on 'vibration'.

A few Questions

for the school bus like ride if you have the variable rate coil springs (tighter coil at one end) in the rear change them for normal one (equal spacing on the coil from top to bottom)
