I have been running the DPS system for a couple months. EGTs don't climb as fast, and stay below 1400 pre turbo. I have a 4Pos chip and the water/meth allows me to use all the time in 140hp setting. It's a nice little power boost-I'm running a 50/50 mix

I have the DPS system as well and I also like it. I do not think it will work well as a towing aid as you will rarely be able to maintain the 15-18psi boost pressures needed to safely inject the water. The EGT trigger mentioned on the DPS site is mainly for truck pulling/drag racing applications, not everyday towing.

why so few replies???

I was just surprised at the small number of people that have replied to this thread. the same thread subject over on the 6.0 forum is HUGE 1080 replies or so. A ton of info.

I would suggest lookin over on there. somewhere on like the last two pages or so (there's 45 pages i think) The guy by the name bighoss550 would be the one to talk to. He runs a towing bussiness and he is VERY pleased at the result of the water injection on his truck.

take a look, and lets get some more info goin here. I wanna do the same to mine, but wanna see what more 7.3 owners think.

I have never have the time to read that whole thread, but if he's injecting water at low boost he may not stay very pleased for very long.....

and maybe 1/4 of all those posts were actually useful-lots of chattin' going on. He blew up his engine because he used 60% meth and injected it with the pump motor maxed out. my pump is set at maybe 150 psi and hits at 15 and 20 pounds of boost.
