94 7.3 Questions

94 7.3 Questions
First off, hello everybody,
I'm thinking very seriously about buying a 94 F250, it's the non turbo motor and just wanted some input about the truck. The guy I'm getting it from is a family friend so i've known the truck for about 6 years, it's been very well maintained and has some dents and dings but definately not abused. It's got about 290 000 kms on it but from everyone I've heard thats nothing for this motor. It's an XL regular cab longbox 4x4 and was just wondering what kind of mileage I could expect, problems to look for with the motor, how the power stays on hills etc if i was towing a trailer with a 2800 lb Bronco on it etc. Also, how hard is it to swap in a turbo motor...I'm new to this forum and hate to ask a question thats been here 4000 times so if anybody knows of a link to answer this question that'd be great.
