Question Need some help

Hi, I am getting a 69 F250 4x4 and am looking for advice. It is in pieces and looks to be in good shape - I hope it is all there. It has a rebuilt 429, but not sure if it has ever been in the truck, so not sure on motor mounts. The steering has been changed to use an International box.

My questions are - where can I go to get upgrades for the suspension, brakes and steering. Also, what is the best place to get body and rubber parts. I need to get the truck home and pick through the boxes, but I know I will need a lot of stuff.

My brother has a 68 1/2 ton 4x4 a few years ago and he said parts and upgrades are hard to find. You guys are the experts, you tell me where I need to go and what I should do.

Thanks for the help, I have already learned a ton from reading the current posting.

1st, get the truck home and see what you need. then check the site sponsors for those parts.
2nd, if you hit a roadblock, ask. someone on here has already done it and will be more than happy to help.
3rd, is the truck 2x4, or 4x4, tell us a little more about it, that helps a lot.
4th have fun, that is the best part of a project. if you dont enjoy a project, it is not going to get finished!
