I have a 1951 Canadian Built F1. I have been told that the original colour of the truck is meadow green....on the Vin plate beside paint i have a code 23.... Can anyone confirm this....Also when i washed my engine, I have traces of a sand\almond colour.... would this also be original... Any paint codes/pics/Paint names would be appreciated greatly....I am struggling to keep this truck original as possible.......Thanks

Canada vins and codes and engine colors are completely different than US - these sites might be of some help to you. The almond/off-white engine color is correct.

I have found out the my original colour of my ford is sheffield green, canadian paint code 23, i even have a ppg code that is no longer mixable.....the formula was never updated for newer mixing agents..... Has anyone had any luck with scanning this colour...Possibly someone has a formula from a scan they would like to pass on..... It is a must for me to keep my truck as original as I can.....Thanks in advance for the help
