electric mirror problem
The passenger side mirror on my 1999 e150 stopped working electronically. I think I might have "bumped" it when I was washing it. The motor still works it just needs to be re-installed correctly. I pulled the mirror out of the the housing but I can't put it back in so that both motors work . I got it to go up and down electrically but not side to side. Should I remove the mirror from the van to line the mirror up correctly? Just pushing it back in isn't working.

The switch for the mirrors on the door in mine fried when my wife left the window open one day and it rained.
I came out to the van and both mirrors were going up and down and side to side by themselves.
I've been trying to find one in the junk yards with no luck.
No way am I going to the dealer$hip for it.
