bench seat in bed?

`has anyone put a bench seat in bed? how hard to do? i probly wont do it . but my neck is pretty red!just looking for details.

Easily done but safety is the main concern. I had a bench in a Chevy with a cap. Bolted it down good and had seat belts. Cheap suburban but probably wouldn't do good in a rollover crash not to mention most toppers don't seal the exhaust gas out. I don't know the legal end of it either. You might check with the laws of your state. Good luck.

I worked a wreck one time where they were driving a pickup truck with lawn chairs mounted in the back. Driver lost control and ran into r/r tie retaining wall. Driver died on impact, the passenger in the back on the chair had one of the chair legs lodged deep in her back. Please be careful and consider all aspects.

I have an 88 full size Bronco, I take the roof off for the summer, pretty much the same as a short wheel base F150.

I am a real American Red Neck and I wont even let anyoe ride in the back of my truck.
I had a friend working off shore and they were drivivng back and forth from Alabama. Driver fell asleep and killed all 5 people in the back. STAY outa the back of my truck!
