Need tranny
Hello, i need a 5 spd transmission ( i think Mazda ) for my 1988 300 cid F150 4x4. I live in Calgary, Canada, and believe me, they're not that easy to find up here unless you buy the whole truck

I would find a 4sp (no od though) cause those mazda's 5sp are a hunk of junk. You might want to try the alberta forum, lots of guys from calgary area. Oh also there's an out wreckers in Lethbridge AB, called Marshall's Auto Wreckers, that might be able to help you out.

calgary...another option, if you want to spend the money and gain the OD gear, find a ZF 5 spd out of a F-250/350 that had a small block engine...i.e. 302/351W/300-6...might be a difficult search, and if you need it fast, then your best bet would be the 4 spd...most likely a t-18 outta most any 80's ford 1/2 ton...
