lookin for some input
kind of curious what ya'll think of my truck in the early stages, how bout some comments . it's in the gallery @ MY PROJECT 72 SPORT CUSTOM. good or bad i'd like to see what you think . thanks guys.

If it were my truck and I had done the trick IRS and 4 cam mod motor, I would ditch the twin I-beam and get a mustang II IFS. That way you would have a front suspension that would be easy to find parts for, get the proper ride height, and match the 5x4.75 bolt pattern with the rear. Besides that I think it is a solid project. Can't wait to see more.

thanks , i thought bout the front end but a new heat pump for the house left my wallet thin so i rebuilt what i had and had the beams rearched to match the drop, alot cheaper and less work, since the truck already drove nice before. As soon as i can i'll get a pic of what it looked like before i started. she's a good solid 43,000 mile origional, but the motor had been removed as it sat for some 17 years in a shed.

i forgot to mention that i had been doing some research on the front end and have found that the 1981 through 83 light duty half ton trucks have a 4.5 inch bolt pattern that maches the jag rear and they also use the exact same wheel bearings as the 79 f-150 disk set up i used on the swap. i just havent set one side by side with the other so see if the diameter and width of the rotors are the same. if so that changes alot of possibilities for wheel combos for all of us. i'll be gettin on that this weekend and let you know what i find.
