Which dash knobs go where?

Which dash ***** go where?
In my '58, from left to right on the dash there are 6 *****, then the cigarette lighter, then 2 more *****. I've seen several pictures, and I can see that there was once a clock where I now have a butchered radio hole, but many of my ***** are missing.
Could someone give me a quick rundown of what the 8 ***** should be, left to right?

From left to right.......
Wipers; Lights; L-Air; *Steering column*; R-Air; Choke; Throttle (optional); Cigar lighter (optional); Heat/Def/Hi/Lo; Radio on/off/vol (optional).
Trucks not equipped with throttle had a blank space in it's place.
Trucks not equipped with cigar lighter had either a blank space, or delete plug in it's place (I've seen both).
Clocks were not original equipment on these year trucks. Someone must have added it at some point.
