What is the fastest Ford you have ever had?

The Tacoma speed shop touted the new (old) technology as a chemical combustion inhancer and they sold hundreds of them. For a few extra bucks you could even get enhanced water injection to help keep detonation down.
They also sold a bunch of small block rebuild kits and pistons to these same rich kids.

It used to be my '88 Mustang GT convertible, but after I got the Tiger going, the Mustang just wasn't quite as much fun. I topped out at around 145 with the Mustang, the Tiger will probably top that, especially after I get the new motor done. Just waiting on the heads, and the time to finish it. The main thing about the Tiger is that it's such a sleeper, not a lot of people know what it is, and don't expect a Ford V8 to be under the hood of such a small car. I have left some astonished Corvette and Porsche owners in my wake on many occasions. -TD

I've had three hi-performance cars in my lifetime. The first was a '69 Chevelle SS396-375 hp, bright blue and a hydromatic 400. I swear I could get shift that manually and get rubber going from 1st to 2nd. Not much, mind you but, a bit of squeal. My second hi-po was a 73 Dodge Dart Sport 340. It was brown with a white strip going from the roof behind the rear passenger windows down the side upper body to the front end. They used to tag it the "convertriple" because it had a crank open sunroof and drop the back seat down and open a panel intothe trunk for carrying long items. Decent car with pretty good performance but, I kept having trans problems and finally got rid of it.
My third one was an '89 Mustang GT. Bright red with red interior and was one of my all time favorite cars. It moved pretty good, even my wife loved driving it. My two oldest sons were in their teens and drooled over it but, I'd never let them drive it.
I just remembered, there was a fourth. I got a little greedy back in '90 and bought a '90 T-Bird SC and had that along with the Mustang. That car could really move and had alot of nice features. I got it for my wife but, she didn't really want it so, we ended up getting rid of it a year later. Sold it for what I owed on it.

My fastest ended up being given to fordbeast_80. 1986 E150 302 AOD. When I had it it would do 125 easy. After Jon rodded the cats and put a 3" exhuast with an IronTuff muffler it could do 130. It could cruise at 100mph and not break a sweat. I gave it to Jon at 235,000 with one rebuild at 100,000. We don't know why but it just liked to run.

Mine would be my 79 F100 shortbed. It has a 351M with an Edelbrock performer intake, Carter 625 4bbl, mild Crane cam, and dual exhaust. Last Sunday I took a buddy of mine to his first cruise nite. On the way home, I decided to show him how fast my truck is. I found a stretch of open road, and I gunned it! I got the truck up to over 100 mph, the needle was buried! My buddy said that was a major adrenaline rush! Now he wants to get a muscle car.
