Question about the build date.
I know this has been covered to death but.........I found the orange sticker on top of the "that box" but it does not have a date like the one in the picture when I did a search. The only thing that looked like it might be a date read 210604. Not 21 Jun 04 like in the pic. Is this the date?

There should also be a white sticker on the top of the FICM that has a build date; this is the build date of the engine. If you concerned about having a 03 vs. 04 engine, take a look on the passenger side valve cover. You will notice a blue sticker that will either state 03 or 04. Another option is to look inside the A-pillar at the bottom of the driver's side door.
If you are looking for the build date of the truck, it is located on the lower A-pillar of the driver's side door, close to the kick panel.
