Considering the frame is narrower on my highboy than the '78 donor truck's box I'm using, I'm wondering how best to mount it. I'd like to know what others have done.
I have a few ideas, but I don't want to weld on to my frame.... How about Flat stock steel to make brackets, kinda like the rear cab mounts??
The boxes are the same. The only difference is the mounts on the frame. If you have the '78 donor still, use the mounts from it unless they are rusted.
you can redrill 6 of the holes in the bed, the ones thru the crossmembers. that should hold it alright. dont know what to do about the old holes except weld them up.
