4R100 help
I have a 2000 F-250 PSD 4x4 with the 4R100 trans. The transmission will not shift from 1st to 2nd without me having to let off the go pedal. After I let off it will change. It will change from 2nd to 3rd kind of sloppy, but it will change. The OD will not change while driving. If I put it in OD or take it out while driving, it does not change. Any ideas???

took my truck in to have tranny serviced today... same reason figured I'd have the fluids changed a new filter and a diablo powervalve installed, they dropped the pan and there was a 2 inch pile of metal on the magnet... turns out that it was the snaprings that hold the clutches together, not good. they just put the pan back on and refilled with fluid and I drove it straight to well known transmission shop here, figured it was going to be rebuilt anyway so gave it hell all the way there, still shifts and everthing except in one gear you have to let your foot off to get it to shift, anyways, they are doing a complete rebuild with all the updates w/ a shiftkit,powervalve better gears and stuff... was told that it will be almost indestructible when I get it back, for 2500 dollars it damn shure better be, anyway it comes with a 2yr 24000 mile warranty, and its installed for that price... thought i was going to die when they told me. but hey... whatever it takes to get my baby back lol hope this helps sorry about the bad news!
