I went on the Rouge Factory Tour a couple weeks ago in Dearborn Mich. It includes the Dearborn Truck plant where they make the F150.
It has some pretty neat special effects, plus you can see your favorite truck being assembled. It was $14 person, or $10 if you are a memeber of the Henry Ford Museum, which is a must see as well.
Wow...that sounds awesome...but they charge for it?!?! Are they really hurting that much for cash that they need people to pay to look at the factory floor? You'd think the three Ford vehicles in my garage would be enough to cover it. To the average person that would be a waste, but I'd still probably pay it.

Hey T, on the flipside, they probably figure, "If this guy can afford 3 Fords, he surely can pay $14 to see some old Ford trinkets and some new weld guns!"

Hmm...yeah good point....but anyone willing to pay $14 would surely pay $25!

THey charge probably because they have to run buses from the Museum to the plant. Also there are some video presentations, in what I would describe as "IMAX" like, somewaht virtual reality with smells, heat and water.

Nothing is free. Plus they need to charge to cover all the warranty work done on my vibration
