Im making my 360 into 390... I went to the machine shop and got my heads done... the guy keeps jacking the price up everytime i talk to him.... The heads are done but he said the stock 360 valves my not work with my cam... I dont want to get ripped off, and ive heard of many other people running bigger cams with stock 360 heads, so will this

If your valves are in good enough shape to work with any cam they are good enough to work with that one. That cam isn't much bigger than stock on the lift part. He is feeding you a line of garbage. You won't even need special valve stem seals with that one. Take your engine somewhere else. This guy knows little about FEs. I am not sure if he knows his job very well either.

How big can i go with a cam... im getting my rebuild kit from florida and they had a hurricane so i had to wait for them to ship.... they only have comp cams though so he will probably substitute... whats the best one i can get to produce better mileage and more hp then that clevite cam?
