Dagnabbit!!!!!
Rear gate lock on my '94 Sport only goes down half way. I need to remove the rear gate panel to see if something is binding but I've looked all over to find some screws or something that allows me to remove the panel but can't find diddly. I'm sure it must be those push in type pins that hold it in place but I'm afraid of trying to pry it off without checking with someone who knows first. Any ideas?

1. remove the plastic trim piece around the lock **** and remove the now accessable screw.
2. remove the screws securing the pull handle
3. remove any remaining screws/plastic rivets (aprox 6)
4. gently begin to remove panel releasing the hidden clips
5. as gentle as possible, remove as much of the vapour barrier as required.
