Which Book?
In my personal experience, I find Haynes manuals are more basic but they provide excellent pictures and helpful alternatives to specialized tools for the DIY person. Chilton's manuals offer more detailed information and specifications. Their illustrations and instructions are distilled from the factory manuals. Both are handy additions to your garage.

Which Book?
i have both the chilton's and the haynes. i find the haynes more user friendly,but not terribly indepth. the chiltons makes a good cross reference, and some times one more explanation sure helps. rick
