This probably should be in the 4x4 forum but this isn't really a question so I put it here. I went up to The Pipeline (local mudding place here) because a few buddies of mine were camping there. I put some ground hawgs on the back of my truck so it goes through a good amount of mud. We come across this hole and this guy is like, " its only 8inches deep, punch it!!" So I did. All I hear is SPLASH, Ker PLUNK, my engine shuts off, and water flows over the hood. I had my floor vents open so in 3 seconds my seat was under water. I got it pulled out and my engine wouldn't turn over. Thats ok though....until I remember i had my cell phone, wallet, digital camera, and a bag full of personal possesions from my last relationship and its alllll under water. I felt like tying a bowling ball to my head and jumping into the hole. My wallet with 300 bucks floated out the door when I opened it and I didn't realize it until the next day. Luckily I found it all ripped up in the mud. The money was there, license and pictures not though. I pulled the plugs, changed oil, tranny fluid and filter. It runs ok but starts kinda rough and my brakes suck. I lost alot this weekend, but I learned a valuable lesson. Major lesson.

Sorry to hear about your loss. It is good you learned from it though. That is what makes it not entirely negative. I don't always learn from my mistakes...
