"Run To The Rock" ????????
Hey, anybody have any info on the dates for the Run to the Rock event in Chimney Rock, N.C.?
I'm still working on a power steering setup, so if I cant drive mine there I still would like to go see all the other trucks!!!!!

ps...there is supposed to be some sort of car show in Lake Lure (just down the road from Chimney Rock) on the weekend of Sept. 17,18.

Streettrucks Steve is correct on the dates. I just hope that IVAN doesn't bring the rain and flood us out. Steve, are you planning on being there?? For those who haven't been to that show don't know what their missing. This year is the 20th year.

ivan's path regarding run to the rock
as of 12:00pm today Monday 13th the path of Ivan was projected to be friday in western area of NC right near where lake lure and the run to the rock is..i went last year and have plans to be there this year..however that now will probably change...looks like a wash out

15 inches of rain predicted at lake lure this weekend
so much for the show thanks to Ivan..my brother talked to the mayor of lake lure today about the show..he said that up to 15 inches rain is expected.50 60 mph winds.umm i guess that says it all...ivan thanks alot..

The true test of Ford fanaticism will be those that show up for the run to the rock, in spite of Ivan and the cancellation of the show. To bad it will be raining so hard, I'd like to be there to see who shows up. Maybe the show will be rescheduled??
