I paid $26.99 for 2 Ford OEM PATS key's off of ebay.

Here's an item number for 1 PATS key. 7919778327

Just do a thorough search and you can find Ford OEM ones, Strattec ones, as well as "off brand" types with American Flags and transparent colors.

Cool Update

Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it. Took my Ex to dealer for appr today and was told there is no sound baffling for the model due to adj. pedals, does this sound like malarkey, baloney, you name it?? Not a satisfied Ford customer at the moment but willsee what they do...

It is used on almost all trucks, cars, SUVs, and otherwise; that Ford produces. However; the P.A.T.S. key (for some odd reason) was never implemented on the Super duties. Thats why you hear about Super duties being stolen. There are few, if any, stories about an Excursion or an Expedition being "borrowed". Perhaps in the near future, Ford might decide to implement the P.A.T.S. in the Super duties.

I purchased those sound panels & installed a set on my F250 in order to help the truck be as quiet in the cab as the X. It helped very little if at all but the X is quieter & it has adjustable pedals. I looked at my x & it doesn't have the sound panels either, I ordered some & attempted to make them work with the pedals, forget it if you have adjustable pedals. Panels won't fit. Don't worry if you don't have any, they weren't worth getting.
