95 150 302, I keep getting intermittent check engine light. seems to only happen on 85 degree plus days, pulled codes, only get 332. reset and still get 332. I replaced the entire egr with evp. I have checked the can and two vacuum lines that go with it, The tube from egr appears to be onobstructed,I am at a loss. any ideas anyone?
My book also says insufficient flow,I guess I dont know what that means, as I posted in my original, I took that to mean either a bad egr or evp sensor on the egr, I am really frustrated as i dont know where else to look. the truck runs well and gets good gas milage.
Same problem with my 92 150 302. I just moved my EFI over to another 302. My first code was a bad TPS which testing confirmed. After replacing the TPS I started getting the 332 either while driving when I left off the gas or while sitting and giving it some gas then let off. I tested the valve, its fine, no leaks. Took off the EGR and though there was some carbon build up it was no clogged. Cleaned it up real good with seafoam. I even put my mouth over the pipe that feeds the EGR and i could blow into without restriction. Put it back together and got the same freaking thing. Truly at a loss!!

Reason: typo
I know your not gonna like this but if you replaced the egr already and and evp I would be looking for vacuum leak. I had same code on my 94 460. It was intermittent just as yours only coming on under heavy accel. I researched it and ordered and egr and evp just as you only to stumble onto a cracked vacuum line right at the accumulator. Good luck!
Hey guys, I don't know if this is anything but have any of you checked your EVR solenoid. I have a 95 with a 351 and when my EGR started going bad I replaced the EGR, Evp sensor and what my Chiltons calls the EVR or EGR Vacuum Regulator. I don't know if they were all bad but I have 120k and they were original equipment. My EVR is a little black plastic box next to the coil. It has a vacuum hose that comes from the EGR valve around the back of the plenum and leads to it. From what i understand it is not suppose to go bad very often but I changed mine anyway.
I have replaced the evr, erg and the sensor on top of the egr, I have checked for obvious vacume leaks, and not so obvious. I ended up getting the evr at the Ford Dealer and the egr and sensor on top of it at NAPA the switch from Ford was only 35 dollars, the egr and sensor on top were about a hundred dollars, I think now I must have a slight vacum leak as i havent got an idea of what else it could be. nothing left to change!!!

I'm having nearly the identical problem as you. Code 332 on my '95 302 with 76,000. Today, I replaced the EGR, reset the computer, took it out for a drive hoping the CEL wouldn't come on again, and just as I'm pulling back into the driveway, it comes on. I'm plain frustrated. The CEL light will come on when I'm at a low RPM, usually around 40mph or so, usually not when I'm acelerating hard. The light has been coming on for almost a month now but after finding out it was nothing major, but now it's just annoying.
The truck runs fine & gets the standard gas mileage for a Bronco. The only other thing I aven't replaced is the Sensor on top of the EGR. After reading your post, I'm hesitant to even bother if it isn't going to solve this pseudo problem. The truck is due for new exhaust so maybe when I take it in to have it redone he can check it out for me. Unless anyone else has any suggestions? What's the best way to check for vacuum leaks? Thanks.
Thanks , I am not alone with this problem, I dont have a clue what else to do, I will always tinker, and maybe I will find the problem. I am sure FORD has a propper technique for troubleshooting 332 but I will probably have to discover it on my own, I will let you know if I figure it out.
i had the same problem when i bought my 96, got all the codes fixed except that one. i had to replace the dpfe sensor to get mine to go out, hope that helps some as this is one of the most common causes of that egr code.
the dpfe sensor is located on the front of the intake manifold, right to the right of the throttle body. it has 2 rubber hoses going from it, to the egr tube, its a silver box u cant miss it
I took an uneducated guess and looked at that sensor, found that the hose going to the throttle body was badly decaying, I replaced it on a hunch that maybe when it got warm it seeped a bit, only drove it once about 8 miles but no ce light, I will cross my fingers. thank you very much
