Hey selby thanks for the reply! Wow i am bummed, i wanted to get a regular cab STX 4X2 with the 5.4L so i could trick it out and have someting close to a lightning but i guess i will wait for the new Lightning to come out!

I hope at least it can keep up with the doge srt10, But i would expect the new Lightning to handle alot better on the road coarse then the SRT10. If ford plans on still putting independent suspension on all four corners it should handle like a dream!

Ford is planning to be on the top again. It was many years that they held the title then Dodge came out with this Widowmaker of a truck and Ford I'm sure was not happy bout that. Well I believe the new Supercharged Motor should be producing a bit more HP and Torq than the Viper engine and be a few seconds faster. Not completely sure but there's alot of hipe behind what Ford is planning with the new SVT. here's some pix to go off of.

Man!! that is one sweet ride! thanks for the pics they are great. I wish i could have been at that show!
I still think the Lightning is in a class all by it's self, comparing the SRT10 to the Lightning is like comparing the Viper to the Mustang. I hope dodge doesnt get to comfortable holding the top spot for sport trucks, cause ford will not let that stand for long. Just think if Ford ever builds a V-10 sport truck it would rule the road.
