I'm looking for a really good book on the process of painting. All the different primers, fillers, sanding, and choosing paints. I want to paint my own truck, but I need to read up on it first, anyone got any good suggestions on this type of book? Oh and don't worry, got some spare panels from the junkyard I'm gonna do first to get the hang of it, no way I'm gonna jump into this head first!!
Thanks, I had not even checked on the site for paint info. I will definately check that out. What would you reccomend for a good paint gun? I know the binks style is the standard nowadays, but what are some good features or brands to look for? I'm not going to make a living with it, I would like to know how to do bodywork for my personal use. And I don't have alot to spend on it either, like maybe 125-150 range. Any suggestions?

There are several good brands of paint guns. You might stop by the Sharpe paint gun web site though. Look for the "Dr Gun" forum. They sell excellent refurbished demo guns for a great price. Drop Dr Gun a request and he'll send you a price list.
