Where is the speed sensor that senses for the computer that controls shifting on the tranny? How do you test it and is it easy to replace?
I continue to overdrive problems and this is the last item that has be recommended to check so I thought I'd just replace it if it's not to expensive and see the results. Only problem is I don't know where it is or what it looks like.
Thanks
i drive an 87 ford aerostar so i am assuming it would be the same. Just pull the fuse sor the one that says spd cont. it will also take out back wiper blades and rear defroster.
