My sons 94 f150 truck (5.0L eng) started fine a while ago but shortly after he drove away it died. All electrical systemslike lights, accessories, etc appear to work. It' raining pretty hard so I haven't actually tested the spark yet.
I scanned the computer and got a 211 code for PIP circuit failure. What is a PIP and where is it located on the engine? Could this thing have become unplugged or is it likely that it needs replaced?
One thing you can check out is make sure all the electrical connectors are plugged in good. I accidently unplugged my PIP sensor one time and I got the same check engine code #211, I reconnected the plug in connector and all was well, the plug in for the PIP sensor is located on the drivers side fenderwell under the hood, it's up close to the cab toward the top of the engine compartment.
