rod bearings
I am in the process of changing my connecting rod bearings (engine in)on my 93 3.0 and mistakenly rotated the crank while trying to get one of the bearings out (with the rod cap off). Is ther any way to tell whether I got the crank back to the exact correct location?

As long as the timing chain and camshaft are still attached (which I assume is the case) you have nothing to worry about. Just move it back or forward as need be for better access to the cap nuts. Just make sure you don't reverse the bearing caps when replacing.
