Got a nice new pair ( freebe) of stock type main leafs for the rear of my 54 that have the eyes reversed. Put the 5 leaf reverse eyes on the front about 4 yrs ago, got about 3" drop so I used the 2" extended shackles on the rear. Still too tall on the back.
I'd like to install the reverse eye main leaf on the rear (should bring it down just right) but not too sure if the reversed eyes are going to bind if I leave the foreward hangers in the stock position. Should I plan on flipping the hangers over ? Just trying to get all my ducks in a row before I start the project.
