Quick zf 5speed question.

I have a chance to get a zf 5 speed from the junkyard but its behind a 460 big block(blown engine). I want to put it in my truck which has the 351w. Is there a bolt pattern difference, like I think there will be, that won't allow me to bolt it up? Or am I going to be glad to hear that it will work?

Different bolt patterns. You need one from a 351. I don't know if the 300-6 came with ZF trans, but if it did, you can use one from that engine too since the pattern is the same as 302/351.

I've seen a few ZFs behind the 300 in F250s.

There's also a difference between the gas and diesel ZFs
