90 Aerostar problem
90 Aerostar problem
I live in a very hot climate in Arizona, ( temps are about 110 degrees in the day) and have a problem of the van dying after it is run for a while. This is usually after running it for about 50 to 100 miles the van just shuts off, and sometimes will start, but there is no power. I have ran the codes, and it keeps giving me a code 11(OK) Once the van sits for a hour or so, it will start and run fine. I am thinking that maybe the TFI module is going out. I am going to take it out and run it to get checked. I had to replace the engine last year, and since then, it has had this problem. I noticed that the wrap around the fuel lines was not replaced, could this also have an effect on it? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
