auto headlights
anybody have an idea for a clean lookin way to cover the autoheadlamp sensor on the dash. i want the light to come on when i start the truck day or night. i thought about permanant marker but not sure it would work .

Ford does sell and daytime running light kit for super duties. I wonder what is in the kit. That would make the headlights be on all the time. Other than a neat job with electrical tape.......maybe.......the tape would be easy to get off if it did not work.

Auto headlights
You could always jus pull the cluster(assuming the light is in the cluster-I have a 97 F250 HD, not a new one yet) or the plastic infront of the light and jus put some electrical tape over it and make sure the tape will stay, that should cure your problem. Then if you ever trade the truck in or sell it all you need to do is remove the tape.

On my 05 today I popped up the sensor and unpluged it. I used a small zip tie to attach the conector to the sensor. Did not want the wire falling down behind the dash. It took 45 seconds to do and no tools. Nice fix.
