tranny problems
okay here is the deal, i got a new truck the other day its a 92 f150 with a 351 and a e4od tranny 4x4 nice truck, i got the codes red and egr valve neutral safety switch were bad, so i fixed them. Today i was goin down the road and all my gauges quit workin, so i put my truck in neutral and put a new fuse in and started my truck the fuse didnt blow until i put it in park again. I did this 3 times just to make sure that it was that! but what is that? What the heck would cause all of that with the whole fuse blowin thing. I need some help real snappy. Thanks boys you aint let me down before dont let me down this time.

I am guessing that the neustral start switch in the tranny that tells the computer that it is in park/neutral and that it is safe to turn over the starter is shorted. Strange why it only does it in park and not neutral too. Maybe the switch housing is damaged in the tranny and is only shorted in park. Just guessing.
