johnnybench520- i guess since you havent personally watched me lift at the gym, you really dont know my situtation. but its ok, opinions are like belly buttons and everyone has them so ill let yours slide. i dont use the pretty machines. i leave those for the girls that * i watch * at the gym.
hey man... youre right, there are many opinions.... Im just laying basic knowledge.. If you squatted hevy, benched, and dl'd lots, and ate like a madman. Size would never be a problem, go check out elitefts.com, Houseofpain.com go deepsquatter.com They have a lot of good articles and advice for powerlifting, but that might not be your bag if youre into bodybuilding. Just my measally non liftin .02
johnnybench520- to me, coming home from a club at 330 am it seemed like a personal shot when you mentioned "leaving the shiney machines for the pretty girls" but nowthat im sober i dont see it that way. anyways.
you mentioned advil in your equation. i DO NOT take pain meds or tylonal, or any asprine because ive heard it can restrict your muscles growth.
ive tried websites like muscleandbulk, but you get these guys who have to take stabs at others to make themselves feel better so you dont get any solid advice. ill try out some of those youve mentioned.
Its all good man.. I mentioned advil.. just cause I emd up taking a lot when I get tendonitis.. youre exactly right about kost of the web sites.. and honestly the mass degradation of a lot of bodybuilders is one reason why I dont compete in that venue. If you want to get big, I honestly cant really give you a lot of info, that isnt already allover the place, I choose to compete in powerlifting, where your lifts matter, not your build.. eventhough if I leaned from 12% or so lard, to mebbe 3-4% Id do ok. Poewrlifters, will literally do anything they can do to support eachother, even if it means possably effecting their own meet.
Heck we all get along really well, knowing what it feels like to hit a heavy set of 8, sit up, and do 5 more reps right afterwards makes us all iron brothers.. Btw that was the "woah daddy part of my bench routine last night, 315x8, then 5 right after aka "shotgun set" ima puss.. gotta find advil... j/k..
go check out those websites.. youll like em
