You plug-in options, mileage, condition and location and they'll give you a "regional" price.
Last March, I was happy to pay $21xxx for an '02 XLT w/46k miles. IMMACULATE condition inside and out, Ford CPO program w/75k & 6-year powertrain warranty, 4.6L w/3.55 rear end, side air bags, towing package (never used), VCR system & 6-disc CD changer and back-up sonar.
I didn't like the wheels, so I had the dealer change them from another vehicle. I knew going in that the dealer has three "pockets" so to speak: one is the price of the vehicle (he's trying to fill that pocket), the 2nd is his paperwork fees (he WON'T budge on those) and the 3rd is on the spot service. They'll bend over backwards to add brake pads, change oil, diff. & trans. fluids, swap tires/wheels for FREE while you're THERE.
DON'T drive the car off the lot and then come back a few days later expecting stuff to be done for free.
I spent from 9:45AM to 4:15PM on a Saturday making sure the vehicle was as close to PERFECT as I could get them to get it before I signed the check. I even requested that the dealer rent a VHS tape so I could check out the VCP system; it came with only one wireless headphone so they ordered a second. My rambling story has a point: do your homework BEFORE you see a dealer/owner and remember that YOU are in absolute control UNTIL you sign the papers.
If you're happy with what you got for what you paid, don't be concerned what someone else thinks about the price.
XXX609 I'll take your advice and the vehicle runs great. It's just that I'm trying to get over the milage thing. I got an extended warranty for and additional 3/36 from the date of purchase, just hope I don't have to use it. Thanks again.

It is full of good info but was a bit tough to read.
