water problem
i replaced the headgasket and alsothemainfold gaset torq tospec.started the engine knocking noise than a backfire out of the egr than white smoke.engine warmed up. water in the oil. i replaced the manifold gasket again same thang just water in the oil. drained the oil it was a white color. leaving the drain plug open i filled my radiator and water would come out of the drain plug. what do i do. i thought that everything was going good what happened?

Not sure which engine you have, but the 2.9 is rather prone to crack the head rather than blow the head gasket. Did you have the cylinder heads inspected? Other than a cracked head or block, an error in installing the gaskets?

i took the heads off a 4. pushrod 93 to another pushrod same engine.theads never leak off the 1st engine. can i reuse the same gaskets. if not damn. 90bucks down the drain. plus how do i make sure that they are on right.
