Well, I just found the ford truck group through the search engine and decided I would have to join and see what knowledge I could provide and also post a few things that I don't know. I just bought my second F-150 a few days ago, it is a 1983 F-150 Custom, with a 351 windsor, dual tanks, 4 x 4, 33" tires and a 3" body lift. The truck is in decent shape with the common cab corners rusted and a few other things. Since I am a mechanic, I am not to sure about the body aspect and that is what the truck needs the most. Here is a few pictures... tell me what you think about it... Gotta love that camo paint job, I have already purchased the primer and the base coat... lol
Did you paint that truck or did you get it that way? Can you send me some more pics of that. I want to paint my truck camo but i am not sure of the best way and yours is the best example i have ever seen of the way i want mine to look. So if you could send me a few more pics or post a few more i could kind of use it as a model for doing mine.
Thanks and it looks awesome.
Bill

Bill, I will be more than happy to send you some pics of the camo paint. It was actually done by the previous owner that used the standard USMC camo pattern. It is all just sprayed on and he did a really good job at it. Unfortunately he did not rough up the base coat of the original color and it is all starting to peel off.
**edit**
Bill, I was looking on my computer and I do not really have much more picture wise but I when I get off work, I will shoot some more of each panel so you can have a better view of what it looks like.

Bill,
The link below gives you a list of pictures of my truck. I took a few so that way you could see the different panels. Let me know if this is what you needed.
This is perfect.. I see what u mean by the paint is coming off.. I will make sure to prep it really good first. Thanks Alot man I really appreciate it. I have been lookin and lookin and nobody has a decent set of pics.
I will post some pics when i get it done.
Before you paint it camo make sure and sand the base paint good but don't go down to bare metal....... in places that there are rust sand it down to good metal and get some really good primer and put a few coats of that on there then sand that lightly and get some good camo paint..........if you want it to look good and last longer go to a good paint and body shop and they might be able to paint your truck camo. that whold last a lot longer and look alot better then you doing it with some cans of spay paint.
