Converting Controls
i have a 1978 f-250 ranger explorer as my signature says. i was wondering if it would be possible to make the dealer installed a/c and the factory heater run off one control. instead of two seperate units. hope you get what i am saying. the dealer installed a/c control was installed in the center vents. i was wondering how to get rid of that ugly ol thing and make it nicer and less busy looking inside the cab. thanks ahead of time!!

how hard would that be to find??? junkyard maybe???

You would need to get the entire heating/ac system out of a 73-79 with factory a/c and install it in yours. I'm going through this in my 73, the hardest part is cutting the large hole in the firewall - besides that it's just bolting up parts...
