Peaky Sub Box

I built a small mid-sub box for my Ranger. Considering it is my first attempt ever it sounds pretty good (pics in gallery). My only problem is that it seems to have quite a few resonant peaks. Is there any way to fix this? Maybe some baffles or something else internal that will redirect the sound waves?

your best bet would probably be to go find whats called dynaxorb, its made by the guys who make dynamat, it kills all backwave distortion, a lot of people say it does nothing, Ive used it and seen it work, should kill most of it off for you

put fiberfill in there. its like 2 bucks at walmart and works great. it lowers the resonant frequency of the box down by making it seem bigger.

I've already got about an inch of poly-fill in there. I'll have to look into the dynaxorb. Thanks!

get the loose fill stuff and pack it full. you'll lose some db's but it will help with the resonance
