engine swap
I have an 84 ranger 4x4 with a 2.8 carborated motor with a 5 speed transmission. I would like to know if a 89 broncoll 2.9 fuel injected motor would fit my transmission.The bronco is 2wheel drive, but it is a 5speed transmission. will it work?

yeah it will fit..but if you are using the 2.9L in place of the carbd motor..make sure you take EVERY part for that 2.9..wiring, computer..also remember you will have to put a fuel pump in your exhisting tank.
