Code 511 on ranger with diablo?

My check engine light came on at a stoplight the other day, when i took off, it went off, so i checked the codes, i did koeo only, and got a 511 (read only memory test failed), and 113 (intake air temperature circut indicates open circut/below -40 degreesF). I'm wondering if the chip caused my 511 code, or is my PCM about to die? I'm going to clear the codes, and see if it comes back. I was just wondering if its possible the chip isnt hooked up and its causing it, or i didnt clean off the connectors good enough, and now 1 of them isnt making contact, i dunno?

The iat sensor is working properly, it had a coating of somthing on it (oil?) which i cleaned off with carb cleaner. I put it back in, and i'll unplug the computer today. But any ideas on the 511?

A read only member test failure code is normal when a chip is installed because its very function is to override the read only memory on the PCM.

Oh, whew! I am now completely relieved. I was kinda getting worried there for a second. So instead of 511 meaning your computer is dead, it means the chip is functioning! Okay, now i gotcha! (more sigh's of relief) i was getting worried that i'd have to replace the PCM.
