Dash kit
Does anyone know of a company that makes a SMALLER dash kit for the 04? I have seen some that say they are small, but to me 32 peices is not small enough. i just want a little carbon fiber around the center dash and mabye the doors. Also, one thing worries me about these things. In the installation directions, all of the companies say to use adhesion promoter. I know from experience and from the instructions that this stuff WILL destroy any surface it gets in contact with. Being as indecisive as I am, 6 mo. to 1 yr i may want to remove the kit just to get a fresh feeling. I dont want to use the adhesion promoter, but I am also worried about the 3M tape peeling off the dash finish. A little li=ong winded tonight, but I've been away for a while. Thanks guys!

Yo Johnny...I do aftermarket for a living. If you may want to take it off later dont put it on. Without adhesion promoter it will lift up in time. There are lots of cool kits avaliable, A good friend of mine makes them... want info email me

Its all personal taste, but here's my thoughts on this. I looked at some carbon fiber kits for the dash and door handle areas. I saw the real deal on a 2004 F-250 Sport and it looked AWESOME. I also saw an '03 crew with a fake wood kit on it and it just looked sloppy since you see the edges stop before the creases in the dash pad. If they made some actual pieces to replace those on the cover, then cool but the stick ons just don't look as nice to me. Like I said though...its all personal taste so if you like it...go for it. You can always add the stronger adhesive later!
