Yeah, I'm not sure about the copper tubing either, I know eventually it cracks from stress.

There has to be tougher plastic tubing from somewhere, I just haven't found anyplace yet.

I dunno if this will make you feel better but seems my plastic oil psi line supplied with the kit, after the constant heating and cooling of the engine, has hardened some. Unless it comes in direct contact with the header or block, your main problem IMO is sealing on the tube ends, it will eventually leak, then again so does everything on the engine after a while......but if installed correctly it will last a long time. Just a thought, good luck with whatever you decide
