cool fuel

I would like to know if there are any noticable power gains from using a cool can on a carbed mild street engine.

if so are there any limiting factors to whats "noticable gains" such as comp ratio, carb size, altitude, humidy?

I don't think you could keep ice in it. I have heard of people wrapping the fuel line around the AC line to prevent vapor lock.

I wouldn't get the cheap mr gasket one. it has no insulation. ice would melt fast in that one.

the moroso one looks nice. its insulated with threaded inlet/outlet ports. it uses a heat sink type resivoir instead of smooth coils.

i wonder if you could get one with a drain valve to drain the old water out. i could easily modify one of those to keep the ice solid longer. if you put dry ice in there with water how much of a gain would be present, would it be enough to make the engine run smoother or make me feel a difference
