chips for a 97
Dear FTE Members
I have so far be totally blown away at the massive amount of info hear.
My question today was what do all you think would be best for my truck as for a chip or a tuner. Currently it has an auto, 4.10, 3" downpipe is on the list, will get done before any power mods, dual 2 1/2 into 5 inch pipes, no cat, no muffler just straight exhaust. the previous owner had a hypertech programer, he gave it to me and all it lets me do is ajust the ****f firmness.
More horsepower is definetly what I want, the more the better. I am just still a lil undecided on what to get.
Any info will be much appreciated.

First thing get a open intake. The stock filter set-up is junk.. Call Dale with Tymar Performance. He sell a great set up for about 110$. Then I would continue on your list with the exhaust. I would strongly recommend a pyro gauge before adding any chip. As far a which chip to use, its all about personal preference and what your using your truck for. Someone smarter than me will give you some good ideas.

I forgot to mention that I do have all three of the a pillar guages. and I JUST read (like 5 minutes ago the thread about KOD putting the new air cleaner on his truck, gunna try it out this weekend.
