not a general ford question, but whats the cheapest and easiest way to build your own flatbed trailer, or get a cheap one, not sure about how long of one.
I built a small, 4' X 8' trailer from a kit I ordered from Harbor Freight. It came with all the hardware including the wheels, tires, and lights. All I had to buy was some treated lumber for the bed and removable sides. I think they have the kits in differnent sizes too.

Sounds pretty nice...what does something like that set you back?
Here in Houston there are several places where you can buy everything you need to build trailers, even large ones. they have frame rails, axles, brakes, etc. Check around your area for such a shop.
