flatbed trailer?

flatbed trailer?

not a general ford question, but whats the cheapest and easiest way to build your own flatbed trailer, or get a cheap one, not sure about how long of one.

A kit maybe?

I built a small, 4' X 8' trailer from a kit I ordered from Harbor Freight. It came with all the hardware including the wheels, tires, and lights. All I had to buy was some treated lumber for the bed and removable sides. I think they have the kits in differnent sizes too.

I think the kit was under $200.00....maybe $160.00. I don't use it that much...but it's great when I don't want to dirty up the bed of my 150!

Here is a link to the trailers at Harbor Freight. They also sell them at their stores, and from what I've seen they are of good quality.

look for a trailer supply store

Here in Houston there are several places where you can buy everything you need to build trailers, even large ones. they have frame rails, axles, brakes, etc. Check around your area for such a shop.
