Can you put in a pre oiler in the 6.0? If so who makes one.
if u are mechanically inclined..... u would be well served to build it yourself. the timers and pumps are verry high dollar.
just make a pickup port out of ur oil drain plug, and tee it in to the oil filter feed. put in a good 100psi diaphram pump and a switch, put in a couple check valves and u got it made
tons im sure. there would be no need to sit and ewait for the egt to drop to shut down. and u wouldnt have to worry about dry start-up.
i am going to build one on mine if i can ever get the time
I am going to order the Amsoil product this week. I will let you know how it works this winter in the extreme cold. maybe it will help but it cant hurt

the aircraft industry uses pre-oilers......maybe they are better units????? anybody from the "flyers club"???
im too dumb to fly so i dont know much about it
The marine industry also uses them. On those big engines you're turning a lot of iron so it makes sense to make sure it's well lubricated before startup.

Only three things to remember if you fly…….and you only need two out of the three
Air speed…Altitude……Brains…any two of three will work…
