body work
I am new to the forum so bear with me if I do not explain myseld specific enough. I bought a 72 and a 76 Bronco as a package deal this summer. We are doing the 72 first to try and have it ready for next summer, when my son gets his DL. I just got the body panels I needed via UPS today and I am having problems getting the right rear inner fender to fit. I have the old sheet metal cut out along with the wheel well and lower quarter, but still cannot seem to get the inner quarter to fit. Do I need to cut any additional sheet metal to get this to fit? Since I have never restored a vehicle before, I am sure I will be on this site regularly.
To line up body panels you will need to break out the good old measuring tape and strait edge. Take measurments off of the good side that you havn't taken apart or from a solid bronco that you know is strait. Then do what you need to to make the
parts fit right. That could mean cutting more material from one part or the next.

Lets see if I can explain w/o pics. I cut the lower r/r 1/4 panel off at the seam where it rusted out. I also cut the same side inner out with the wheel well. I also cut the same side rear door post. Now when I have the door post in the inner 1/4 seams to be too long and it causes the door post to bow from preasure. The thought that I need to do some cutting makes sense, but I was afraid to cut too much off. I will give it a shot. I also did not think to measure the oposite side (duh). Good ideas and thanks
