rotor growl
I purchased a set of crossdrilled and slotted rotors from national fleet services a few months ago and after installing them I got a growl from 25 mph down to stopping. I called the company and was told this was common, now it's getting worse 45 mph down. Anybody have this problem with these type rotors and vendor. I'm also getting a lot of brake dust on the rims. I'm calling the vendor again tomorrow. Hope it's o.k. to use the co. name. Thanks for any help in advance.

I'll have to agree with the company on this one. With the crossdrilling you just made the surface uneven which will produce noise. The only way to quiet this one down is to get a different set of rotors that have not been drilled or slotted. It's just the laws of nature at work here.
